Mr.Shoaib Mir has been Appointed Chairman Board of Directors of NITL with effect from November 28, 2025. Mr.Shoaib Mir is a retired Pakistani civil servant who served in Grade 22 of the BPS-22 grade as the  Education Secretary of Pakistan and Chief Secretary Balochistan.Mir belongs to the Pakistan Administrative Service and was promoted to the rank of  Federal Secretary in December 2017. He has held various key positions throughout his career with the Government of Pakistan, including the position of most notable of his assignments being  Chief Secretary Balochistan  and Education Secretary of Pakistan.He has also served as Chairman of State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan.Other positions where he has served include Additional Secretary Establishment Division and as Principal Secretary to Governor of Balochistan. He also attended local and international professional training courses, workshops, seminars and conferences. Besides, he is a most prominent speaker on the subject of leadership, complex strategic issues & personal empowerment. He is regularly invited to conduct workshops and deliver lecture to the participants of Senior Management Course and Mid-Career level civil servants of the Federal & Provincial Governments to improve public service efficiency through capacity building at National Institute of Management across Pakistan, a constituent unit of National School of Public Policy. Mr. Mir has also been frequently delivering lecture on Management & Finance at Civil Services Academy, Secretariat Management Institute, NHA Institute and Custom Training Institute etc. Mr. Shoaib Mir has a Degree of MBBS along with a Diploma from the prestigious Kennedy School of Government affiliated with Harvard University Boston, Massachusetts. He is qualified for Directorship from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance. He belongs to the 15th CTP and is batchmates with Maroof Afzal, Iqbal Hussain Durrani, Rizwan Ahmed, Fawad Hassan Fawad and  Allah Dino Khawaja.After retirement from active civil service, he was made member of the prestigious  Federal Public Service Commission.

Mian Nusrat-ud-Din is representing Tajammal Foundation on the Board of NITL. He is the Chairman, Chenab Group, which is engaged in integrated manufacturing and export of Textile goods as well as in Agricultural products. Mian Nusrat-ud-Din is a graduate in Chemical Engineering and also holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Technology. He has over 40 years management experience of Textile Spinning Mill and Chemical Plants. Also, he has vast experience as a member executive committee of Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry and various Trusts.

A business-person and a qualified lawyer with over two decades of diverse experience, which spans across Energy, Power and Financial Sectors. Holds an established track record of serving as a professional certified director on the boards of various listed and unlisted companies in public and private sector. Served as a director on the Board of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited for four terms and two terms on the board of National Investment Trust Limited. Mr. Naeem Bashir Ahmad is representing Habib Bank Limited on the Board of NITL.

Mr. Naeem Bashir Ahmad posses 30+ years of broad-based experience in commercial, consumer, transaction banking, consulting and manufacturing, He previously worked at United Bank Ltd and was responsible for all its business interests outside Pakistan. Prior to UBL, Mr. Naeem Bashir Ahmad worked at Alvarez and Marsal and headed up the firm’s Financial Services practice in Europe and the Middle East. Mr. Naeem Bashir Ahmad held various leadership positions across Asia and Europe and have worked on a large number of financial deals, including the merger and acquisition of a commercial bank. Including due diligence, carve-out and divestment of ABN AMRO’s retail banking chain in the Phillippines and participated in the acquisition of ABN AMRO by RBS.

Mr. Amjad Mahmood is currently having charge of Additional Finance Secretary (IF/INV/IGF) with 32 years of diversified work experience, in Civil Services of Pakistan. He has served in various executive positions during his service. He has served as Advisor to the Board of Directors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). He has vast experience in dealing with matters relating to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), House Building Finance Company Limited (HBFCL), National Security Printing Corporation (NSPC) and other Financial Institutions/ Regulators/Organizations. Mr. Karim joined National Bank of Pakistan in 1996 since then he has held a variety of senior positions during a career spanning over 25 years. In 1997 he moved to Bank of America as Senior Authorized Officer. He re-joined NBP as Vice President to Head Business Monitoring & Financial Control of the Bank’s interactional franchise. In 2003, he headed corporate credit division for five years. Mr. Karim also served National Accountability Bureau for three years as Director Financial Crimes Investigation. After repatriation to NBP, he worked in Assets Recovery as Executive Vice President for a period of seven years and subsequently led logistic support Group as its Group Head. He was elevated to SEVP & Group Chief, Logistics, Communications & Marketing in 2021.
